Wearing of face coverings
While restrictions have now eased and face coverings no longer mandatory it’s still really important that we keep everyone safe and secure when they visit our salon.We have therefore made the decision to keep wearing face coverings while we are working. This will be alongside keeping up with our strict cleaning and sanitising routine that we have had in place throughout the pandemic.
While we would ask our clients to also wear face coverings to ensure everyone at Red Hare feels safe, this isn’t mandatory.
Screens
We will be keeping our screens up in the salon for the foreseeable future too, to ensure that each workstation is kept separate, and our clients can feel more secure.The private hairdressing room
If any of our clients are still feeling nervous, we shall still be operating the private hairdressing room at the back of the salon. This is self contained and also has the option of a different entrance being used. We have had quite a few clients request this throughout these past few months and we are happy to be able to provide it for anyone who pre-books it.Our staff and our health
Some of you may have noticed that we have been trialing having the salon closed once every three weeks on a Saturday. We wanted to see how this would affect appointments and bookings, and so far it has been a real success, with everyone being able to come in to keep their hair looking tip top on dates that work for us all!The reason behind this is that we also want to make sure our own staff stay healthy and happy and are able to spend valuable time with their own friends and family in what has been a very difficult year for us all. We believe our mental health as well as physical health is just as important, and so we shall be continuing these opening hours for the foreseeable future so we can all enjoy this little taste of freedom we now have.
